  • So because the 2nd no. is 60
  • 2nd no =
  • [tex]60 + x[/tex]

Given → 60 + x ÷ x = 4

↓

[tex]60 + x = 4x[/tex]

[tex]60 = 4x - x[/tex]

[tex] = 60 = 3x[/tex]

[tex]x = \frac{60}{3} = 20 \: cancel \: 0 \: and \: 3 = 20[/tex]

  • The value of x is 20.
  • Smaller no → x = 20
  • Larger no → 60 + x = 60+20= 80

So the answer is X = 20 and 60 + x = 80
