Connective is a Greater Houston area disaster and preparedness nonprofit dedicated to serving our community through technology and human-centered design. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant need in our community, Connective launched its texting program to connect people in need with services that can provide assistance. We do so by sending 2-3 texts (message frequency varies) per week to individuals who sign up (at no cost) about local services (food banks, childcare, etc.) and assistance.
