Who decides what a genuine Filipino is? My grandparents, parents, and I are Filipino because of that tangible, incontrovertible, un debatable thing called a valid passport. My two sets of grandparents couldn't have been more different from each other (culturally and linguistically, among other things) and yet all four were nothing more or nothing less than Filipino.
