Alvin is in-charge of the draining of the swimming pool in their club house. He drains
it in order to clean it, then he refills the pool which holds 120 000 gallons of water.
The pool fills at a rate of 10 gallons per minute. Make a table that shows the amount
of water (in gallons) from the first hour until the swimming pool is filled with 120 000
gallons of water.
2.
A hospital has enough pills on hand to treat 5 patient for 4 days. However, their
patients have doubled. How long will the pills enough for 5 patients last if this is
the case?
3.
A barb wire 54 meters long is to be cut in two parts such that it follows the ratio 4:5.
How long is each part?​
