Luogu, (Chinese: “gongs and drums”) Wade-Giles romanization lo-ku, Chinese percussion ensemble composed of a variety of instruments, including—in addition to an assortment of gongs and drums—cymbals, bells, and woodblocks. The luogu accompanies parades, folk dances, and theatre.
