As a student, there are a number of ways to “preserve the culture”; however, the preservation of culture could, in my opinion, be left to the memory of excellence without any outside interference. Consider it a deus ex machina where excellence perpetuates itself as a natural and enduring solution to the preservation of itself. This can be modeled cyclically. :)
No. This doesn’t mean that memorizing flash cards in three different languages upside down and backwards. No. This doesn’t mean tunnel envisioning a romanticized, more or less perfect future. No. This doesn’t even mean making the grade sometimes.
The memory of excellence is something we all have access to, as people;however, students are at an advantage for the skills we develop in both acquiring excellency and maintaining it. This is the “memory of excellence”.
