In my opinion, this pasage is written for our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. Rest in peace redeemer of a country in bondage means to wish peace for a deceased person who contributed greatly to set a slaved country free. Do not cry because if a bullet destroyed your cranium, likewise your idea destroyed an empire means grieve not, because even if that person died, his sacrifices would not be wasted. Even if a bullet killed him, his ideas destroyed the Spaniard's rule.
