After trying out the experiment in front of a plane mirror, here is what I have observed:

  1. The letters of the alphabet that are capitalized that can still be read properly when standing in front of a mirror are the following: A, H, I, M, O, T, U, V, W, X, and Y.
  2. The words that are in capital letters that we can write and still be read in front of a mirror are the following: AHA, HUH, MAM, MOM, MUM, TAT, T I T, TOT, WOW. These words are referred to as mirrored palindromes. Others refer to it as ambigrams.
  3. It is very challenging to write an English sentence that uses only palindromes/ambigram, but here is a mixed of English and Tagalog sentences that is uses palindrome/ambigram:
  • AMA! (Father!)
  • AHA! (Aha!)
  • MOM? HUH?!
