To find the original price, we have to follow the following steps using the problem below.
At 25% discount, a school bag was sold for P 150. How much was its original price?

25% = Discount rate
100% - 25% = 75% Sale price (P150)
Use the proportion to get the answer
75%: 150 = 25% :n
0.75 x n = 150 x 0.25
