refers to the scenes and the events that happen in the story.

It doesn't only focus on the scenes of the story but also centered on the main moment of the story in which the author has emphasized and would like the reader's or audience to create dramatic questions that will only get answered at the end of the story.

There are 4 Different Types of Plot:

  1. Linear- also called a 'progressive plot' it has a chronological or in a sequence of the series of actions that start from the conflict until getting through to the climax.
  2. Episodic- similar to Progressive type of plot it also has a chronological or in a sequence of the series of actions though it creates connections in between different events, places, time,s and ideas that are related to one another which complete the plot.
  3. Parallel- is a type of two different plots in which the author makes a connection or is typically combined together to create more dramatic scenes or plots.
  4. Flashback- from the term itself, it is going back and relating the plots that happened in the earlier time in the story and making a connection to the current time of the plot.
